Starting Reception in September 2019 - The deadline for applications to start primary school in September is 15 January 2019. On time applications can be submitted until 23:59 on 15 January, after which applications may be treated as late. Any preferences for voluntary aided or academy schools, or schools out of the City of York area may not be processed if an application is late
The results of applications will be available from 10am on National Offer Day which is Tuesday 16 April 2019.
School admissions and free school meal/pupil premium applications can be made on this portal for New or Existing users. If it is some time since you created your account, you may have to create a new account to use this portal.
Before making a school admissions application - you should consider the information that is recommended all applicants read in the Guide for Parents, and consult the maps in the Guide to School Catchment Areas. Only persons resident in York and with parental responsibility for a child may apply for a school for that child via this portal. Please note that once you have submitted your application and we have downloaded it, you will not be able to make further changes.
