School admissions and free school meal/pupil premium applications can be made on this portal for New or Existing users. If it is some time since you created your account, you may have to create a new account to use this portal.
The deadline for on-time applications to start Reception and Year 7 in September 2018 has now passed and applications may be treated as late. Any preferences for voluntary aided or academy schools, or schools out of the City of York area may not be processed before the relevant National Offer Day if an application is late.
Before making a school admissions application - you should consider the information that is recommended all applicants read in the Guide for Parents, and consult the maps in the Guide to School Catchment Areas. Only persons resident in York and with parental responsibility for a child may apply for a school for that child via this portal. Please note that once you have submitted your application and we have downloaded it, you will not be able to make further changes.
